Greater Media - Corporate, seeks a highly motivated accounting professional to serve as its Radio Division Controller.

The ability to manage and direct the activities of the Controllers and Business Managers at our radio clusters and effectively interact with senior level management personnel at both the operating and corporate levels is essential.  You will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and the development of policies and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 5 years experience in the broadcasting industry, or the equivalent, is required.  The ideal candidate will have superior written and verbal communication skills, a thorough working knowledge of all accounting cycles, proficiency in all components of the Microsoft Office product suite, and strong organizational abilities. Knowledge of Marketron traffic and billing and/or Great Plains Dynamics accounting software is preferred.  CPA is a plus.

Greater Media Boston is looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to join our busy radio cluster, with a primary focus working with WKLB-FM. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Process, print and file sales orders for the station;
• Complete daily commercial logs;
• Commercial copy scheduling and management (which includes local, agency and network copy);
• Update the log in accordance with programming changes;
• Post log on a daily basis, reconcile spots missed, copy changes, etc. for billing;
• Complete and file network affidavits on a timely basis;
• Assist sales in balancing discrepant contracts;
• Run daily reports for salespeople and management;
• Handle calls from listeners, clients and agencies regarding commercial copy;
• Traffic system file management;
• Manage co-op scripts for billing purposes;
• Provide back-up for traffic personnel for the other Greater Media Boston stations.

The right candidate must be a team player who is able to work with all departments of the radio station with particular emphasis on sales and production. 

Job Requirements:

• Typing:  35-40 wpm;
• Knowledge of traffic software systems (Marketron preferred);
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks; work well under pressure; meet demanding deadlines; work in a team/group setting; and have the ability to handle multiple personality types;
• 1-2 years radio/traffic experience or agency/broadcast traffic experience;
• College degree preferred or similar higher learning (i.e. broadcast/trade school).
